I'm using mod_dav 1.0.3 and a Windows 2000 SP4 Web Folders client to edit
an A::G 0.8 gallery. With this particular setup new folders can't be
created anywhere in the gallery. Does anyone have a workaround, other than
providing a separate URL for DAV access?

When instructed to create a new folder, the Windows DAV client always sends
a HEAD request first to test if "New Folder" already exists. It always
thinks "New Folder" exists, because A::G (up to and including rev 251?)
returns a 200 OK response whenever it receives a HEAD request. (Until I
come up with a better idea, my changes to 0.8 are:
