Your problem seems to be that Gecko (the mozilla rendering engine) doesn't word-wrap on dashes and underscores. Internet Explorer wraps on dashes, and also seems to extend the width of the container instead of overflowing it as Gecko does.
You could "fix" this by removing the width property of the .folder element in gallery.css. It breaks the design badly though, and it's not something I'm going to change in the template.
I would still recommend you look at using .folder instead, if you don't want your real folders to contain spaces (which Gecko would wrap on).
