Are you absolutely certain? It may not say anything about A::G, but will
probably be an errormessage from Imlib or the likes.
It may be that another module is grabbing the requests for the images.
Try unloading as many modules as possible.

It never is, it's a virtual directory, which A::G translates to your
cache directory.
